It is really easy to use wool dryer balls to soften and fluff your laundry. Simply toss a few of them into the dryer with your clothes, towels, sheets, blankets, and more. That’s it!  We just leave them in the dryer.  Don’t add anything else, our dryer balls act as a natural fabric softener and decrease drying time so you won’t have to wait as long.

Dyes are acid based and not good for the environment.  We do offer various "shades of our sheep" and plant based colors in our PET TOY line but it goes against our philosophy to sell a product that's not good for the environment.

Wool dryer balls tumble around in the dryer with your laundry. As they bounce they create loft, separating the clothing and allowing the heat to distribute to the fabric surfaces more efficiently therefore reducing drying time. The wool surface area helps to naturally soften your clothing by lifting the fibers of your clothes.

Absolutely!  Our wool dryer balls are totally safe for a baby's sensitive skin.

We make ours to last and we're proud of it!  Folks have chided us for making a product that doesn't need replacing.  We're so proud that we offer the consumer something that WILL last, we guarantee them for 1 year for ANY REASON.  Beyond that they last for 3-5 years, depending on how much laundry they do.  We find many folks replace theirs in 1-2 years just for the "fresher" wool ball look.

We have learned more about static then we could have ever dreamed possible.  First, static is an outcome of heat.  For some folks turning the dryer temperature down has helped.  Second, many folks have an abundance of synthetic fibers today, polar fleece and such..they are static makers I believe!  The more synthetics you dry, the worse it is.  Third, location is everything.  There are some parts of the country that are so dry there is nothing that can help.  Lastly, the season of the year and the dry air contribute to electricity in the dryer. We do know the wool ball absorbs electrify but it can only absorb so much. 

Ideas? 

1. Wet the balls about 10 minutes before the cycle ends and toss them back in the dryer.

2. Add a ball of aluminum foil or try a safety pin attached to one of the balls

Absolutely.  If you don't mind them getting dirty and disappearing in the yard or behind a piece of furniture, its fine to let your four legged family member play with the dryer balls.  In fact, we've heard so many reports from our fans that their furry friends were hanging out in front of the dryer waiting, we created our PET TOY line for their very own. 

We recommend a minimum of 3 to get the desired results.  

Yes! Add 2-3 drops of your favorite essential oil to a wool dryer ball and let it dry for a few minutes before tossing it in the dryer. We also sell our own Laundry Fragrance, specially formulated to work beautifully with our wool dryer balls. Available in lavender and citrus.

The big question is always, do dryer balls work? We can honestly say that they do! We have been making and selling our product for over 8 years now and can say with assurance we have many happy customers.  Several years ago we were asked by WholeFoods market to submit our product and packaging to a 3rd party for testing of claims and material(s).  We were awarded the SUPER PREFERRED tier on their ECOSCALE RATING system, ...can't get a higher award.  We have years of happy customers to back up our claims
